Report on ZWCAD Language Pack: Enabling Multilingual CAD Design

Once the language files are on your hard drive, switching is instant:

  • Localized Version: You purchase ZWCAD specifically for a region (e.g., ZWCAD 2025 EN, ZWCAD 2025 DE). You are locked into that language unless you reinstall the software.
  • Language Pack: You install one base version of ZWCAD (usually English) and then apply a language pack overlay. This allows you to switch between languages instantly via the software settings without reinstalling.

  1. Go to www.zwsoft.com
  2. Log into your ZWSOFT Account (or create one).
  3. Go to Downloads → Language Packs.
  4. Select your ZWCAD version (e.g., ZWCAD 2025, 2024, 2023).
  5. Download the .exe or .zip file for your desired language.
  1. Open ZWCAD.
  2. Type OPTIONS in the command line and press Enter (or click the Big Red 'A' icon in the top left -> Options).
  3. In the Options dialog box, switch to the "Display" tab.
  4. Look for the "Language" section (usually near the bottom).
  5. Click the dropdown menu. You will see a list of installed language packs.
  6. Select your preferred language.
  7. Important: You must restart ZWCAD for the changes to take effect.
