1. Disable WPS – Go to WLAN > WPS Settings > Disable. WPS has known brute-force vulnerabilities.
2. Disable remote management – Go to Management > Access Control > Set “WAN Access” to Disable. This prevents anyone from logging into your router from the internet.
3. Update firmware – Go to Management > Firmware Upgrade. If no update shows, don’t manually upload unless your ISP provides a file – wrong firmware bricks the device.
