Enhanced Performance Mode

What It Is

  1. Windows Defender & Security Center: Completely removed to reduce background process overhead. (Warning: This is a double-edged sword; you will need a third-party antivirus).
  2. Windows Update (Auto-Updates): The update service is disabled and stripped to prevent forced feature updates. You control when and what updates, if any, are installed.
  3. Microsoft Edge & WebView2: Gone. The OS does not come with a default browser. You must bring your own (Firefox or Chrome portable recommended).
  4. Telemetry & Data Collection: All tracking services, diagnostic data, and feedback hubs are ripped out. This is a privacy-focused user’s dream.
  5. WinSxS (Component Store): This is the "Xtreme" part. The component store is heavily trimmed, meaning you cannot add new Windows features later (like .NET 3.5 or Hyper-V), but it reduces the OS footprint by nearly 4GB.
  6. Xbox Gaming Services & Game Bar: Removed entirely.
  7. Print Spooler & SMB (Server Message Block): Disabled by default. If you need to print or network share, you must re-enable these manually (a script is usually provided).

Functionality:

4/10 (too many broken things for daily use) Security: 1/10 (actively dangerous unless air-gapped) Speed: 8/10 (but at the cost of security/stability) Trustworthiness: Unknown (depends entirely on who made it)

  • Extremely lightweight: Idle RAM usage under 2GB.
  • No Bloat: A clean slate from the moment you install.
  • Legacy Support: Installs on computers without TPM 2.0 or newer CPUs.
  • Privacy Focused: Telemetry is disabled out of the box.

4GB of RAM

This build is perfect if you have or less and want to experience the Windows 11 look without the performance hit. However, because it's a "Lite" edition, some features like the Microsoft Store or specific system drivers might be removed to save space. Always check the developer's "Removed Features" list before installing.
