1. Install a fresh battery or run directly from AC power (though the device throttles CPU to 120 MHz on AC only).
2. Insert a CF card formatted as FAT16 (use mkfs.fat -F 16 /dev/sdX on Linux).
3. Hold Fn + Power to enter boot menu. Select "Boot from System ROM."
4. You'll see the ToriOS desktop: a file list on the left, a command line at the bottom.
5. Type help to see commands: tracker, write, serial, sh.
6. Press write to launch ToriWrite. Press Ctrl+Q to save, Ctrl+X to quit.
