  1. Never say "No." Instead, say "That will cost you 2 Willpower. Do you proceed?"
  2. The Three-Question Rule: At any stalemate, ask the group:
    • Whose Deep Lie contradicts the other’s truth?
    • Can one character’s Quirk trigger another’s Surface Wound?
    • Do their Stakes overlap or compete?

    ✅ Step-by-Step Setup

    • Overloading Cards: A single card should contain no more than three bullet points. If you need more, split the concept into two cards.
    • Static Villains: Ensure your antagonist also gets an Arc Card. A villain who doesn’t change is a cartoon.
    • Forgetting the “Viva” (Life): Don’t let the card system become a cage. If a character wants to act “off-card” in a way that feels true, let them. The cards serve the story, not the other way around.
