Synapse PDS Viewer v151 — Full Write-up

  1. Open your PDS file that contains both image and spectra data.
  2. Go to Tools > Linescan Tool.
  3. Draw a line across a region of interest (e.g., a grain boundary in a metal sample).
  4. Click "Extract Spectra" . The viewer will generate a real-time plot of elemental intensity versus distance.
  5. Right-click the plot and select Export to CSV. This exports raw counts for external analysis in Origin or Excel.
