Fixing the “30 Lives” Code in Super C for NES: What You Need to Know

A Note on “Super Contra S Power”

1. You need to find an S-Power icon (red falcon with an "S"). Memorize its location (e.g., the start of Stage 2 or the elevator in Stage 4).
2. Collect it. Now you have the spread gun.
3. Deliberately die three times immediately after collecting it while standing still.

   This is a permanent hard-code modification. Unlike the Konami Code in the original Contra , which required user input to trigger a flag, the "Fix" makes the 30-life state the default baseline state of the game.
