1. Extract ZIP.
2. Right-click SamsungOdysseyG40B.INF → Install.
3. Reboot.

How to update Gaming Hub / Tizen:

1. Format the USB drive as FAT32 (default allocation size).
2. Extract the firmware .bin file to the root of the USB drive (no folders).
3. Rename the file to MONITOR.BIN (if not already named so – check Samsung’s readme).
4. Power off the G40B.
5. Insert the USB drive into the Service Port – it’s the USB-A port labeled “SERVICE” or “FW UPDATE” (often near the joystick port).
6. Power on the monitor.
7. Navigate to Menu → Support → Software Update.
8. Select Update via USB.
9. The monitor will verify the file and start flashing. Do not power off.
10. After 2–3 minutes, the monitor reboots automatically.
