Where codes/files come from

  1. Code Generator: Create a tool that generates a unique offline activation code based on the user's NI LabVIEW product and serial number. This code can be used to activate the software without an internet connection.
  2. Code Validator: Develop a feature that validates the offline activation code entered by the user. This ensures that the code is correct and associated with the user's product and serial number.
  3. Activation Code Manager: Design a feature that allows users to manage their offline activation codes, including generating new codes, updating existing codes, and deactivating codes when needed.
  4. Offline Activation Code Calculator: Create a calculator that takes the user's NI LabVIEW product and serial number as input and generates an offline activation code based on a predefined algorithm.
  • If you have a valid NI account and serial number, follow NI’s support documentation for “offline activation” or “manual activation” steps.
  • If you’re unable to reach NI, ask your institution’s IT/licensing admin for the offline activation file tied to your serial number.
  • Keep a “Golden USB” for Deployment
