Some modified BIOS versions add support for Resizable BAR (ReBarUEFI), which can improve GPU performance in modern games.
Scope and goals
The MR9A Pro supports ECC and Non-ECC DDR4 memory. The Exclusive BIOS often improves memory compatibility and allows for tighter timings or higher frequency overclocking (stabilizing 2666MHz or 3200MHz RAM straps that can be unstable on stock BIOS).
Warning: Flashing a BIOS is inherently risky. Always ensure you have a CH341A programmer and a backup of your original ROM before attempting to install an exclusive or modified BIOS. A failed flash can result in a "brick," and on Chinese X99 boards, the onboard recovery methods are often unreliable.

- Update BIOS to latest vendor release (backup first).
- Enable XMP profile. Reboot and run MemTest86 (3 full passes).
- Run a CPU stress test (60–90 minutes). Monitor temps < manufacturer Tjmax.
- If stable, enable desired RAID/NVMe modes and test storage throughput.
