How to Add HT12E and HT12D to Proteus
The HT12E and HT12D ICs are common RF encoder and decoder components used in wireless communication projects. While they are often not included in the standard Proteus library, you can add them manually or use functional alternatives.
- Pin 1-8 (A0-A7): Connect all to GND (for 8-bit address
0b00000000). - Pin 10-13 (AD0-AD3): Connect to 4 push buttons (other side to VCC). These are your data inputs.
- Pin 14 (TE): Enable pin. Connect to GND to keep transmission active.
- Pin 15 (OSC1): Connect a 750kΩ resistor to GND.
- Pin 16 (OSC2): Leave open.
- Pin 17 (DOUT): Output to virtual terminal (TX pin).
- Power: VDD – 5V, VSS – GND.
