Reboot. Your monitor will now be treated as a "Built-in Display" with hardcoded timings.

  1. Test the cable and monitor: Boot into Windows or Linux. Does HDMI work there? Yes? Good. Your hardware is fine. No? You have a BIOS issue or a dead port.
