- Open the TCL Bridge application on your PC.
- Connect your TCL 50 5G to the PC via USB cable.
- In TCL Bridge, the software should detect your device.
- Look for an option labeled "Local Upgrade" or "Firmware Upgrade".
- Click the Browse (or folder) icon and select the firmware file you downloaded.
- Click Start or Upgrade.
- Do not touch the phone or unplug the cable. The phone will reboot automatically several times.
- Once the tool says "Success" or the phone boots back to the lock screen, you are done.
- Go to Settings > About phone.
- Tap Build number 7 times until you see "You are now a developer!"
- Go back to Settings > System > Developer options.
- Enable OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging.
