Small leak risk? Place a diaper or absorbent sheet under the printer.
Heavy use? Replace the pad or install an external waste ink tank ($5 on AliExpress).

Correct refill reset procedure:

Download the utility from a reputable source (be wary of malware).
Run the program and select your printer model.
Select "Waste Ink Pad Counter".
Click "Check" to see the current value, then "Initialization" to reset the counter to zero.
Turn the printer off and on again.

Flashing Error Lights: Both the power button and the error light (triangle or drop shape) flash simultaneously.
On-Screen Error (Epson Status Monitor): "Parts inside your printer are at the end of their service life."
Error Code: Service required. The printer driver shows error code 0x9A or 0xF2.
Complete Lockdown: The printer will not feed paper, print, or even clean the print head.
