Step 1:
Download the "Eaglercraft 188 Offline Download" ZIP from the official repository. Extract it to a folder. Step 2: You will see three files: index.html , offline-download.zip , and server.jar . Step 3: Double-click index.html . This file loads the client but also allows linking to a local WebSocket server. Step 4 (Optional for Multiplayer): Run the server JAR via terminal: java -jar server.jar . This opens port 8081.
