Custom ROMs
: The most effective way is to flash a custom ROM (like LineageOS) to upgrade your device to Android 5.0+. This requires technical knowledge and can "brick" your phone.
- Go to Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Permissions.
- Ensure Storage is allowed.
- Clear the app cache (not data).
- If still failing, manually delete old media from
Internal Storage/WhatsApp/Media.
