- Extract the downloaded driver ZIP.
- Open Device Manager (
Win + X→ Device Manager). - Power off your MediaTek phone completely. Wait 10 seconds.
- Connect the phone to your PC via USB while holding Volume Up or Volume Down (varies by model – if nothing appears, try both or press no button).
- Watch for “MTK USB Port” or “MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM” appearing in Device Manager. It will disappear after 5 seconds – you need to be fast.
