To download DevExpress v21.2, you must access it through your registered account, as older versions are typically not available for free trial. You can manage your downloads and installations through the DevExpress Download Manager .

• Primary build: DevExpress Universal or DevExtreme subscription that includes the controls you need.
• If you only need UI for .NET (WinForms/WPF/ASP.NET): choose the platform-specific installer inside the 21.2 release.
• If you need Web (DevExtreme): pick DevExtreme 21.2 packages.

• npm install devextreme@21.2.x devextreme-react@21.2.x (or equivalent)
• Lock versions in package.json and use package-lock.json or yarn.lock for reproducible installs.

1. Sign in to DevExpress Download Center and download the DevExpress 21.2 full installer for your product.
2. Close Visual Studio and any running dev tools.
3. Run the downloaded EXE as Administrator.
4. Select the product modules (WinForms, WPF, ASP.NET, DevExtreme, Reporting, Dashboard) you need.
5. For Visual Studio integration, allow the installer to modify VS extensions when prompted.
6. If prompted, provide license credentials (sign-in) or accept trial mode.
7. Finish installation and restart Visual Studio.
8. Open an existing project and update project references to the new DevExpress assemblies (or use the Project Converter tool included with DevExpress to upgrade references and config).
