Step 1: Create a New Study

  • Fluid: Select from NIST database: Methane.
  • Thermodynamic: Select Homogeneous Equilibrium Model (HEM) . Why? For pressurized liquefied or dense gases, HEM is mandatory. Do not use "Frozen" for two-phase.
  • Conditions: Pressure = 80 barg, Temperature = 15°C.
  • Hole Size: Click Scenario > Full Bore Rupture (Diameter = 0.3m).
