Act I: The Fall

– Flashbacks reveal Kaelen’s final battle, the betrayal by his second-in-command, and the ritual that bound Seraphine’s ghost to him. In the present, he barely escapes a hunter squad sent by the elven exile council.

• Primary Stat: Grief (Increases damage based on how many named NPCs have died in your playthrough).
• Core Skill: Cankerbloom – Summons a tree that grows from a corpse. The tree attacks any non-elf unit.
• Gear Set: Regret Plate – Low defense, but every time you get hit, you restore mana. The lore explanation? The pain reminds Elara she is still alive.
• Don’t take: Healing spells. They are replaced by "Gloam Mend," which heals you by injuring your party member.
