Championship Manager 01/02
While the original (version 3.9.60) is famous for "super players" like Maxim Tsigalko and Tó Madeira, the official 3.9.68 patch —the final update released by Eidos—shifts the meta significantly. This version is often referred to as the Super Greeks database because of a massive influx of world-beating talent in the Greek lower leagues.
The Untouchable Gods (The "Sign No Matter What" Tier)
The 3.9.68 patch is legendary for making the Greek leagues absolute goldmines. Scouts working on the Greek data famously inflated the potential and current ability of domestic players, making them world-beaters for pennies.
3. Kim Källström (BK Häcken, Sweden) – The Left Foot of God
- Julius Aghahowa (Shakhtar Donetsk): Pace 20, Jumping 20. The Nigerian acrobat. His only flaw? He costs £8m+, but he is worth every penny. He scores backflip headers.
- Tó Madeira (Gouveia): The other mythical striker. He isn't actually a real person (he was a created editor character), but he exists in 3.9.68. Finishing 20, Flair 20. He will score from impossible angles.
- Andriy Sigporsson (KR, Iceland): A giant (194cm). Finishing 20, Strength 18. A poor man's Tsigalko who becomes a rich man's van Nistelrooy. Costs pennies from Iceland.
