Brushless Esc V2.3 Manual //top\\ May 2026

Decoding the V2.3: The Brushless ESC Manual as a Technical and Cultural Artifact

  1. Disconnect battery. Ensure your transmitter (radio) is turned ON.
  2. Move throttle stick to maximum (100%) on your transmitter.
  3. Connect the ESC to the battery. The motor will emit a specific set of beeps:
    1. Mounting: Securely mount the ESC to a flat surface using screws or adhesive.
    2. Wiring:
      • Input Voltage: 2S–4S LiPo (or 5–12 NiMH)
      • Constant / Burst Current: 30A / 40A (example – verify on label)
      • BEC Output: 5V / 2A (for receiver & servos)
      • PWM Frequency: 8–16 kHz
      • Resistance: 0.002 Ω (typical)
      • Red (Positive) and Black (Negative) thick wires connect to the battery. NEVER reverse polarity. If your battery has a XT60 or Deans connector, solder accordingly. If you reverse these, the internal capacitors will explode instantly.

      Transmitter Stick Programming

The V2.3 rarely comes with a programming card (though some generic Hobbywing or SkyRC cards work). Most users must use the method.
