Introduction
From within AutoCAD
: Open the Help menu and select Download Language Packs . This should redirect you to the appropriate Autodesk download page.
- Right-click the installer and select "Run as Administrator".
- Extraction: The file is a self-extracting archive. It will ask for a destination folder. Choose a temporary location (e.g.,
C:\Temp\AutocadLP). Click OK. - Initialization: The setup wizard will launch automatically. If it doesn’t, navigate to the extraction folder and run
Setup.exe. - License Agreement: Read and accept the Autodesk license agreement. Click Next.
- Configuration Check: The installer will verify your existing AutoCAD 2015 installation. If it finds a mismatch (e.g., you downloaded a 64-bit pack for a 32-bit install), it will abort with an error.
- Install: Click Install. The process takes 5–15 minutes.
- Completion: Once finished, check the box for "View Log File" (optional) and click Finish.
